Charity Anne Kurz
Program Chair, Counseling and Human Development
Dr. Kurz has served as a special education teacher, a school counselor, and in ministry leadership roles. She uses her expertise to help students, schools, churches, and families meet the needs of young people, as well as impact local and global communities.
Emily L. Dennis
Assistant Professor
Dr. Dennis is a Licensed Professional Counselor in the state of Ohio, and her clinical work has been with children, adolescents, and families in a variety of settings
Robyn J. Emde
Associate Professor
Dr. Emde is a Licensed Profession Counselor (LPC), American Certified Supervisor (ACS), National Certified Counselor (NCC) and an endorsed school counselor in the State of Michigan.
Christine Ward
Associate Professor
Dr. Ward has worked as a school counselor in elementary and middle schools. Dr. Ward’s specialty area is school counseling and application of the ASCA National Model®. She currently serves as a reviewer for the ASCA Special Program Awards accreditation for school counselor preparation programs.
Tiffany Peets

Dr. Peets holds a Professional Clinical Counselor license with supervisory status in Ohio and a Divorce Mediation Certification from the University of Akron. She has a Ph.D.

Dr. Limoges is a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of Missouri. In addition to teaching, Dr. Limoges owns and operates The Center for Child and Family Counseling, where he provides mental health counseling to children, adolescents, and families.
