Dr. Christina Gabele, DNP, FNP, ENP, CEN is the Family NP Coordinator and Associate Clinical Professor at Walsh University in North Canton, Ohio. She also practices at Summa Health System in the Emergency Department. She brings with her over 20 years of nursing experience and 8 years of nurse practitioner experience. She started her career in the Intensive Care Unit and moved into the ER and then to flight nursing. She flew with Cleveland Metro Lifeflight as well as Akron Children’s Flight Team.

Christina earned her undergraduate degree in Nursing from Kent State University. She stayed there to complete her Masters's as a Family Nurse Practitioner. She then received her Post Master’s Certificate in Emergency NP at Vanderbilt University in Nashville. She returned to Kent to complete her Doctorate of Nursing Practice.

Christina is a Certified Registered Nurse, Family Nurse Practitioner, and Emergency Nurse Practitioner. She is also certified in Basic, Advanced, Advanced Burn, and Pediatric Cardiac Life Support, S.T.A.B.L.E., and is Trauma Nursing certified.

Her professional affiliations include the American Academy of Emergency Nurse Practitioners, Emergency Nurses Association, Ohio Association of Advanced Practice Nurses, American Academy of Nurse Practitioners and Sigma Theta Tau. She has been awarded 2016 Patricia Labbe APRN Excellence Award, and 2014 Barbara Donoho Distinguished Leadership in Learning Award.
