Yes, Walsh University’s online programs are accredited by the following bodies: 

  • Higher Learning Commission 
  • Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education 
  • The Walsh Online Master of Arts in Counseling and Human Development program is fully aligned with our CACREP-accredited on-ground program.

The master’s degree program in nursing and doctor of nursing practice program at Walsh University are accredited by the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (http://www.ccneaccreditation.org).

Yes, all coursework for the program is completed 100% online. Students in our online nursing programs will also attend two on-campus intensive experiences (2-3 days each) and complete the required clinical hours. 

Students in our online counseling programs will need to complete an on-site practicum and in-person internship hours. 

Our Financial Aid Office is committed to working with you. We also award aid based on need. Tuition for Walsh University’s online undergraduate and postgraduate programs varies from program to program. The cost per credit hour is below: 

  • Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) - Nurse Educator or Nurse Practitioner: $775 per credit hour 
  • Post-Masters Certificate (PMC) - PMHNP, FNP: $775 per credit hour 
  • Master of Arts in Counseling and Human Development (MCHD) - Clinical Mental Health or School Counseling: $775 per credit hour 
  • Graduate Certificate in Addictions Counseling (GCAC): $775 per credit hour 

Total tuition may vary depending on individual variables such as transfer credits, undergraduate coursework, etc. We recommend scheduling an appointment with an admissions counselor to review tuition for your program and to discuss available financial aid options.
