Walsh University MSN-FNP degree allows you to work alongside expert faculty as you develop the core competencies required to prepare for advance practice. The program consists of: 

  • 45 total credit hours (complete in as few as 6 semesters, or 2 years with part-time options available)
  • 3 start dates per year (fall, spring, summer), 8- and 16-week courses
  • 3 clinical rotations (700 hours)
Admission Requirements

To be considered for the MSN-FNP program, applicants must meet the following admission requirements:

  1. BSN degree from an accredited school of nursing, with a minimum 3.0 cumulative GPA
  2. A current, unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license
  3. Completion of an undergraduate or graduate-level statistics course
  4. Two letters of reference

Clinical Placements

Clinicals are a required portion of the program that allow you to apply the skills you learn in real-life situations. Our online MSN-FNP program includes 3 clinical rotations for a total of 700 clinical hours.
