Every year, thousands of nurses make the transition from registered nurse to nurse practitioner. Like any change, shifting career paths can be both rewarding and challenging.
First and foremost, all nurses are educators. Nurses are continually challenged to take difficult and sometimes life-saving information and translate for optimal patient understanding and compliance. Nurses instruct on medications, procedures, appointments, wound care, hygiene, safety and everything in between.
The tour was designed for students to have a hands-on experience rather than theoretical learning – they had an in depth and comprehensive sessions pertaining to successful business marketing in tourism and agrotourism businesses.
