Board certified in health-care management for more than 28 years, Dr. Michael Petrochuk is a sought-after speaker and published author in the areas of healthcare management, strategic planning, medical tourism, and population health. Under his leadership as Director of the MBA program, Walsh University has earned numerous national recognitions, including being named a Top 10 Catholic Program in 2016 by Online MBA Report. Dr. Petrochuk also teaches at the undergraduate and graduate levels in the areas of marketing and healthcare management.

Prior to joining Walsh, he served in senior executive positions in strategy and market research. He has been an adjunct professor at Cleveland State University, The University of Akron, and maintains an active appointment at the Northeast Ohio Medical University. He is a member of the Regent’s Advisory Council and Fellow of American College of Healthcare Executives (ACHE), which honored him with the Regent’s Award (1996) and Outstanding Faculty Award (2009). In 2015, Dr. Petrochuk received the national Distinguished Service Award from the ACHE.
